WI New around here

My name is Gary. I'm coming from the Nissan camp (have owned 5 240sx's, and until this week still owned 3 of them).
Currently I have a stock 1990 240 hatch (daily) and a 1989 RB20 swapped coupe (roughly 280rwhp).

Reason I'm coming onto this forum is that I just bought an SA RX-7 from a friend. We swapped a fully built Mustang 302 in over the winter and we're just finishing it up.

The body is perfect besides one small dent in the passenger rear fender flare. there is not a spot of rust on the chassis (seriously, there is absolutely none, it might as well have come off the show room floor).

Last year my friend's son was running it at one of the local autoxes with the original 12a. He hit a cone and it flew up into the engine bay and tipped the coolant overflow tank over and dumpped coolant into the intake, warping the rotor housings.

Since then, we found a fresh 302 (only 8000 miles on it since the rebuild) that was in a wrecked Mustang. It was built by a friend of my friend, so we know everything was done right. Full valvetrain upgrades, head work, forged rods and pistons, Edelbrock 600, intake manifold as well as a few other things.
It has a T-5 world class transmission that is basically brand new.

We're currently waiting for the driveshaft to be finished (the local shop's balancer broke lol). After we bolt that up it will be road worthy.

My plans are to run it most of this year the way it sits (different rims and tires obviously) and just take it and then do suspension and a rear diff later this year (probably winter).

I'm hoping the stock rear end (lsd) will hold together for the summer if I take it easy on it.

I'll throw some pictures of it up later (currently on my work computer).

-Gary
