Hi everyone my name is jake and my story is not the most glorious and probably a not so uncommon.

I have been interested in the Rx-7 ever scene I saw Keisuke drive his FD in Initial D and when i saw how they could look after a good body kit was put on them.

Now for the more technical stuff:

I do not currently own an FD but am in position to buy one
I would like to own a Spirit R type A but i love all FDs
I am a noob to auto-mechanics and Rx-7s
I take a long time to make decisions.
I tend to do things people say i cant.
I wrecked 3 cars in my time.
I am 24 started driving at 17 and stop driving for 1 1/2 years somewhere in there.
I am in the USAF and in japan through most of 2011.
I want an FD to drift and/or make a show car.
Somewhere along the line I want to Import a RHD FD into the states.

What I hope to glean from Rx-7club is the knowledge to maintain/rebuild as necessary a rx-7 (and in the process prove the na sayers wrong) to import an RHD FD or info on where to turn to find out that info and the same for drifting and fixing up an FD into a piece of art an average car enthusiast will appreciate.

No posts on this thread are required because ill make myself know and will look for my answers in other threads before i go posting in other threads to find out what i need.
