SC Itsa new guy

Hello,

Just picked up a 88 RX7 GTU (I think) with the 13b turbo swapped into it. As of right now I am just doing small things to make it a reliable DD to keep miles off my S2000. Future mods will be suspesion, bushings, wheels, radiator/intercooler V mount (don't have a turbo hood yet) and exterior work. I plan on getting into the motor and understanding more about rotary engines begining of next year. Thanks for the welcomes and if you have any insight on the RX7 I bought feel free to chime in and teach me something about my new purchase.

Congrats on the purchase. Pretty clean looking car. How do you like it compared to the S2000? The Turbo II a little more torquey but less top end? How does the handling compare?

well, it's a whole different ball game between the two. The suspension on the RX is pretty shot even with the adjustable settings. Even on sport she feels like a boat so I have not really been able to unlock its potential yet. You are def. right on it being torquey. I was driving it in the rain and when I would come into boost the back end would instantly kick out. Lsd is a def. in the future planning.

That car should already have an LSD in it if it was a GTU and if it has a turbo II swap if they did the complete swap it deffinately should. Thats half the problem with it kickin out on you.
