Me:
My name is Mike. I work as a print/motion graphic designer by day, and by night I'm an obsessive car geek. I frequent quite a few other car forums, and find myself addicted to discussing the details of this hobby that consumes so much of my time and energy. I am happy to say that I am not the typical noob who can't search, find his way around the internet, or understand the finer points of criticism.

I thought I would join up here because it's more interesting at times to read about other breeds than just Nissan (and now VW), and I've always thought that a clean FD would be a nice project some time. Hopefully you guys don't mind non-Mazda people joining the crew.

The Cars:
2005 Jetta GLI - My DD that I picked up this past August and have become obsessed with since. Finding a mint DD with Recaro seats, 6spd and BBS wheels stock, was completely awesome. My commute has never been so much fun.

1992 Nissan 300ZX - I picked her up in December of 2000, and she has seen everything from daily driver duty to weekend warrior status. It has been my obsession, my pride and joy, and continues to be my rolling therapy session most days. The last time on the dyno, I put down 327 rwhp / 355 rwtq @ 13.5psi... but that was with a (questionably) lean AFR. I'm heading back this month for tuning via wideband port right after the downpipes, and am hoping to see ~350rwhp / 370rwtq.
