Greetings fellow RX-7 owners. New member but longtime owner, but sadly not for much longer. I am the original owner of an 85 GSL-SE equipped with a Cartech Turbo system along with a list of mods that I won't get into now. I am looking to decrease my fleet and reluctantly the 7 is on the chopping block. The car is in near perfect condition with 77K original miles. Always garaged and never driven in the winter, there is absolutely no rust, bumps or bruises. It's not 100% perfect, but darn close.

What I’m looking for right now is if anyone has an idea of the value of an SE with the Carech turbo. I don’t have pictures (actually I've attached a single scanned wallet photo I've had for awhile) or a complete list of mods at this time, but will get that done in the coming weeks. All that was done to the car was first rate, no corners cut – for instance, when the power of the turbo kept plaguing the 5 spd trani with problems, the trani was upgraded to a Turbo II trani and other accompanying mods and I haven’t had any issues since. If a problem came up, it was fixed right to stop the problem from coming back. Great car in magnificent shape, but I have no idea of what it’s worth. I know what I’d like to get for it, but it probably isn’t realistic!

No earthly idea but I know it has to be above $4500....that's the amount I got GM's insurance company to settle on after a fleet driver totaled my '83 RX-7 that was perfect with a Rotary Performance of Garland, TX, big streetport engine...and that was a NA carb'd car.

Let's see what others think.
