Brand new on the scene
Hey everyone, what's up? My name is Aaron and i jus turned 21 and im located in Virginia... kinda close to DC. I am brand new on the scene. I own an 88 rx-7 convertible... Its a "Fix-Me-Up" Gift from my mom and it is my first car, and i know I am going to need ALOT of help with it. Im learning how to work on this car as i go along...I know it's not a good thing to do it like that, but i kinda dont have a choice, because well, no one knows anything about rotary engines around where i live at so no one can really help me. Well that my story (sorta) and i hope to enjoy my stay and make new friends in the process.

Hey Aaron, my name is Nick and I just turned 21 and bought my first 7, well, a '94 FD rolling chassis. I'm hoping to have it on the road sometime around August of next year. I'm just north of DC in College Park and am happy to see someone else that is more or less going to learn as they go. is your '88 running?

yeah, it runs but i still gotta fix some stuff for it to be able to pass inspection, i gotta fix some of the electrical in the car though, like when i turn on my car, the windshield wipers will not turn off and because of an accident getting the car off the tow dolly thing, my left headlight will not go up and down. But at least it runs right?

haha, yeah, be thankful for that part. the flip up headlights give a lot of people problems so i'm sure there are plenty of helpful hints to work with that. my FD has flip ups too but i haven't hooked up a battery to test them yet.

New and clueless
Hello, my name is Ben and I'm new to the rx7club. I recently purchased a 1989 Rx7 Convertible and looking forward find out what this car can do for me. I had a friend turn me on to this site because he is basically a rx7 nut himself. Hope to find out some cool stuff about this car.
