I'm not new to rx7's, but new to rx7club
I always wanted to build a rx7...
In high school i bought a TII S4 motor. Of course when i cracked it open it had blown rotor seals on the rotor closest to flywheel (common i hear).
After getting the rotor plates resurfaced i found out the intermediate plate was cracked and ordered a new one for $500. After getting new rotor housing's, all seals, even a microtech ecu. I eventually ran out of money and stored all the parts until i saved enough.
Things didn't go so great since then and my engine is in pieces with all the new parts waiting.
I gave up because the rotor seal that blew, left a gash in the rotor. I was too scared to run that rotor thinkin it wouldn't run right.
I will have to get pics up and show you guys what I'm talking about, maybe get a professional opinion. Might be able to get this build goin again or sell the parts of here. We'll see what happens.
