I have been a member here 3 times, lol. each time I never post just research.

I have finally decided to jump on my dream car. I have always wanted a 3rd gen 7 since I was in high school and a classmate had one (brand new at the time).

I just want to know if my thinking process is wrong, I plan on buying the LS2 first then the granny kit followed by the roller itself. Is this wrong?

One think about this swap from what I seen is the placment of the shifter moving, is there anyone able to complete the swap with the shifter in stock location?

anyway, I am using my 3rd re-enlistment bonus for the project. I have plenty of experience in modding vehicles, there are dozens on here who know me from other forums and even a couple I work with.
