I’m Back!

Just want to say hi to everyone, new and older members. I’ve been apart of this community for a long while now life’s taken it’s turns there has been ups and downs some friends I have met here remained a constant even through space and our own journeys in life but I appreciate you all!

I have learned things here starting off and shared what I had come across in our hobby I got to help people along the way and that I’m grateful for.

I’m a firm believer in good things come to those who wait, but also that God helps those who help themselves. I always stayed in touch with as many people as possible and it paid off big time in my opinion.

Some may know I purchased my first RX7 a 1982 in 1999 out of a newspaper classified remember those? Haha. Restored her back to stock then she was stolen along with my 79 trans-am same night. One year later I found my first second gen a 1989 GTU and I fell completely in love. I spent quite a few years with this GTU and obtained my first Sponsorship ever. I got the rotary bug and purchased many more throughout the years all Fc’s I was fortunate enough to be able to open my own repair shop focusing on performance modifications rx chassis based mainly but I built other cars, alot of custom exhausts and turbo kits as we had invested in a state of the art semi auto bendpak.
my partner and I had the same vision and made a great go at it for a few years but it ended cause nobody had majority stake in the company.

Fast forward 11 years and a handful of good choices I had a opportunity two days ago to buy a FD and took the leap brought her home. Pays to stay in touch with good people!

I am really appreciative count myself very lucky and glad to be part of this community again! My Wife has been a big push to get the FD it was on my bucket list and after spending half or 2020 on chemo it was time and it wouldn’t have been possible without her Thank you

so meet “Ana”

!

Glad to see you're back! Haven't seen you post in awhile and
its great to hear from you!! This place has always been my little home away from home so to speak. I love it here and knowing that the forum is full of great people and information is just a blessing.

Your FD looks to be in really nice shape! How does it run and drive?

Glad to be back, I’ve missed these fantastic pure drivers cars for to long. This FD is amazing it has some upgrades and has been really well taken care of I’m so grateful and really wanted black interior haha. I believe it’s a Base with leather seats and cruise only negative so far is I wish it wasn’t so low I’ll probably adjust the coil overs ASAP I detailed the interior today with my wife and we found a Mazdatrix’s short shifter still in its packaging with all the parts, the factory ones like cooked pasta so that’s going on tomorrow. Brand new tires were installed on the factory 16” it has a Greddy front mount and bov, slotted rotors, exhaust and a few other little mods. I just can’t stop looking at it.
