Just arriving in Japan for a few years and will be picking up a '96 or '97 RX-7 before I rotate back and am here to learn as much as I can. Already found a mint '95 Bathurst over here, but it is so expensive to do work on cars here I am just going to buy and ship in a few years. I am coming from a DSM, EVO, Elise background and ready for something new. Hope to have a RX-7 and a Evora 400 side by side by 2022. Take care!

Well, I wasn't planning on buying until near the end of my tour, but found a stock 1994 FD3S with 30,000km and just hints of rust in the usual spots. In BLUE! I was only looking for blue or white really, so I may have to pull the trigger now and hope that I can get by. I am only allowed to have one car in addition to my wife's here on island so getting rid of my Impreza for an FD will kill the practicality (two kids). This would be so easy if I could have more cars on island...but what are you going to do. This car looks too clean to pass up. I am taking it to a rotary mechanic next week and test driving in a few days, so with any luck I'll have a FD in less than 30 days!
