Hi my name is William Wilson (Nosliw) get it? I have become the proud owner of an 83 RX-7 well two of them to be honest. One is what I belive to be a GS which will be the fixer upper and the doner is also an 83 GSL.
A little back story on these two cars is a good friend of mine several years ago came across a light blue 83 GS. His name was CJ. CJ was new to the 7 game as was I. CJ being deficient in RX-7 knowledge and that of the rotary engine aswell enlisted the help and expertise of a well known rotary mechanic in our area referred to as the Rotary Doctor or Kyle for short.
In the months to follow the 7 received a rebuild, a wide body kit, some nice deep dish wheels, and a coat of black paint. A short time after my younger brother bought the car and while he tried the car didnt get the best attention. Soon after my brother parted with the car it changed hands some 10 times before it ended up with CJ's brother Brad. Brad held onto the GS for a while and aquired an additional 83 GSL. Now these events didnt transpire in a year or two this was over i would say almost 8 years. Recently I was browsing the local craigslist and found what looked like the infamous RX-7 I had known so long ago. A short call later a deal was made and I am now the proud owner of that long lost car. I will be posting a build thread soon. So keep your eyes peeled
