Hi there First time RX owner here.
Hi my name is Edward I live up in Maine, US You don't really see allot of RX7's here let alone ones in decent shape, Maine winters are pretty harsh on anything.
I just picked this one up yesterday, drove her 3 hours home and what a drive I was really surprised being a muscle car fan and not really into tuners.
Now for the car I guess. Its a 1988 RX7 (of course) Vert 5spd. It has 71k original miles and I am the third owner. Its never seen a winter and I have to say its the cleanest engine bay I have ever seen here in Maine for a stock car let alone a 20+ year old one.
I have to say I like the lil car. I went from driving a 92 F350 Crew cab dually with a 7.3L IDI turbo diesel to this and well hah the difference in size is just hilarious. It doesn't have the sound I love but it is a neat lil sound, never heard a rotary before.
Is there anything I should know about these cars before I really get into it? I'm pretty much going to leave it stock. Might get some minor things like strut brace and maybe some exhaust (no cannon) at some point.
