Hi! - Rotary Miata and FD from NL
Hi everyone,
After lurking on this forum for the last 12(!) years, I figured it finally time to make my own account since I now actually own an RX-7! This place is and has been an incredible wealth of knowledge on all things rotary, and I'm really looking forward to writing phpBB forum posts again after many years XD
My name is Bop, 32yo and living in The Netherlands. I imported a 1993 Roadster (Miata) as my first car back in 2012, and a year later swapped in a 13B Renesis after getting hooked on rotaries during my internship at Hayward Rotary in the UK. Since then, the car has evolved quite a lot as my skills progressed. Here is a picture of the car as it sits right now:

It is currently out of order since one of the rotor faces decided to send it's combustion efforts past the side of the rotor

Last year an opportunity came along that was too good to pass up, so I bit the bullet and got myself an FD. Granted, it didn't run and had been sitting in someone's garden under a tarp for about 9 years, but the pictures in the ad were very promising. So my fiancée and I rented a car transporter and drove to the UK to pick up my very own RX-7.

I am still diving into the cars history, so if anyone by chance knows more about it's life in the UK that would be appreciated, but so far I know it was built to a very high spec in Japan around 2005-2006, and then lived a largely neglected life in the southwest of the UK. She needs (a lot of) TLC, but has quite a lot of goodies that I'm intending to keep as much as possible.

That's it for now. - Bop
