I have an 88 rx7 gxl 10th 54k miles. This website is helpful. Eventually I would like to be able to get tips and to post a set or rear seats for sale. I was going to convert mine to a 2+2 but never found the exact fabric match.

I also ahve a 69 camaro. Its a shame no one makes OEM / OER seat covers for the RX7.

convert to a 2+2? sounds interesting, so remove/replace the rear bins and drop in a seat, belts, new backrest, etc ... my wife would love this mod on ours
