Hi I've just purchased an FD3s!

I'm happy to own a rx-7 FD that has had the engine pulled out and completely disassembled... I'm a little more stressed out on my job being so demanding and lack of rx-7 knowledge more than making the commitment to buying this thing... Please shed some info on the best route to take restoring this gas spitter...

I don't plan on rebuilding the engine and rather buy a replacement engine. Does anyone know any awesome engine import companies that ship to Hawaii?

Welcome to the forum. Invest in a workshop manual. You can actually download it online if you don't want to pay for one. I refer to it often and if I still can't figure it out I turn to the forum for help. Good luck with your project.

The fat book in my first pic ontop the fender is the FSM! I've learned from 240's that a FSM is gold. No beating around the bush with Chiltons or Haynes here!
Thanks for dropping a line and wishing me the best of luck with this project!

I just missed out on a clean one from ebay with the N3G1 turbos... I got contacted about this shell and curiously looked on ebay and a super clean engine was for sale. I picked up this shell and went on ebay 2 days later to buy the engine, but to my disappointment the engine was sold............ I should have bought it the same night I brought him home......
