Welcome! The RX7's aren't that bad to work on surprisingly and if you are mechanically savvy then even better. The key is patience and doing your homework to pick the right parts when its time to build and there is more than enough info on the boards here to help with that. If you have the right parts and a good tune you'll be loving life. It becomes really expensive when you throw parts at the car without doing the research and plenty of us have been down that street. The payoff is being able to drive a car that turns heads everywhere and runs with the best. Every time I take my car out I get looks and compliments!

rotary can be really reliable as long as you are willing to put the time and effort into making sure its maintained. Do your research and replace anything you think might have a chance of going bad.

Greetings. Where in Cali are you from? Wonder how far apart we are. I am a fan of the STI but a bigger fan of the RX-7 FD. So, I hear you on wanting one. I just have to find the right one. When are you planning on buying?

93 rx7 with 120 miles on it,
120 miles on the engine or chassis? I call bullshit if seller is claiming chassis!

Go to the 3rd Gen Section. Read all of the FAQs. All of your questions will be answered and you won't get flamed for asking questions that have been asked a million times.
