just bought her a week ago and she had a hi idle. After reading on here found that the shutter valve does not open and stays closed. Small oil leak and vaccum leak some where but haven't found where yet.

Looks like a very nice example worthy of a restoration!! Do you know any of the car's history?

All original. 94k. Barn find. The person i was going to buy from traded it. Then a week later that person traded it. Then i found it again for sale so i had to ****** it up. The car was originally gotten from an older couple. Was informed that the carb was needed worked on or tuned. After trying to tune it, that's when i found that the shutter valve doesn't work and a leak in the vaccum. I wanted a project rx that could drive and when i bought it i drove it home 3 hours away.
