Hello everyone my name's Austin I'm 23 (24 on the 24th) live in Colorado and I own a 1990 GTUs FC and a 1993 FD. The FD is my absolute favorite car of all time and when I finally got one after 6 years in the making it has been everything I always dreamed it would be.

I am a college student going to school for mechanical engineering with dreams of racing professionally. I attended Wyotech and was an auto mechanic for a few years until I got a DUI =( so I've quit drinking and been sober since oct/2009. I use the FD as an incentive not to drink, because if I do I can't drive! lol

I like to think I know a lot about tuning cars (primarily V8s, focusing on the 5.0 Ford) but I am by no means a knowitall lol.

My plans for my FD are sort of all over, I want to get a feed body kit, GT35R single turbo, air to water intercooler, and do a smallish bridgeport, coilovers and to race it on High Plains Raceway, the new road course outside of denver.

Anyway I look forward to hearing from fellow rotary owners!

Frenchee - Nice! a BMW 2002 lol I never see those around.

Billy - I won't rice it out! it has a 99 spec front spoiler, feed sideskirts (shineauto) low profile spoiler from shineauto as well.

 

Welcome to the club, and nice cars! Frenchy, I love those old Beemers. My buddy had one and we used to battle it out on Hwy9 with my Porsche 914.


I see a few mods on that FD already...what's been done to it?

 

99 spec twin turbos running 16psi, greddy intake (the dual cone kind), greddy exhaust, drilled and slotted front brakes, innovate A/F guage installed in carbon fiber plate I made, turbo timer that doesn't work lol....pettit racing ECU....99spec front spoiler/shineauto feed style sideskirts/shine auto low pro spoiler. thats about it....for now! I just got a job again lol
