I just wanted to say "Hey" and let you know who and what I am. I just bought a wrecked 85 RX-7 for an engine donor for anouther vehicle. I am probably gonna be asking lots of stupid questions since it has been over 20 years since I ahve been around these engines. Thanks alot Ya'll and talk to you later.

Thanks, It is a 85 with the 12a and the pass. side was hit hard enough that the seat was broken loose. It is running and I was able to drive it around the yard to see that it shifted OK and all. I am putting it in my sons Suzuki Samurai that he competes with in Rock crawling events. I know a couple of guys that did this swap so I have already had some pointers given.

I have been lurking for a few months getting info, just decided to go ahead and join. I saved mine from the scrap yard so when I get what I need I will sell the rest here CHEAP just so it doesnt get scrapped.

 

good to see some new members alittle closer. i'm actually on the west side. u guys should check us out in the SE section. a couple groups, one in ga other in nc, get together once a month. i've been to each at least once. the old guys with 12as(OGTA) and the i77 i40 crossroads threads. come say hi. both groups have all gens. the nc guys have turbo fb's.
