Aww, cmon...

I'd rather live here in Cali rather than anywhere else. We may have smog laws that blow but our weather kicks *** over all the other states! I wouldn't leave Cali unless you paid me a lot of $$.

Put it this way, there's always a way around things. I daily drove a Microtech'd TII putting down about 330whp for a year with no issues. My FD passed emissions with a PFC among other mods just by tuning.

texas has the perfect racing weather most of the year and if you pick the right county there's no emissions tests any car can pass emissions with the right tune, or meth injection. of course meth injection is illegal for street use in most states so hide it if you have it and need an emissions test haha. I have my FD registered to indiana (no emissions or safety inspections) even though i live in texas thanks to my family living up there and using their address to get a indiana liscence lol

i'm not sure about az or cali, but colorado it didn't matter what fuel you used you had to do an emissions test, and during the summer when your engine runs hotter e85 releases more hydrocarbons, making it even more difficult to pass emissions.

cali does blow for the most part, best thing is where i am, i got tons of fun mountain roads to take in the rx-7, felton empire, east zayante, empire grade, highway 9, mt hermon to go fast, and so on. tons of roads with fun corners up in the hills here. the smog laws and state government suck here for the most part...

Hi! let me know if this is inappropriate, but i'm assuming you are a girl by your name. If so, i commend you on working on your own car. I dig mechanically minded girls. ..if i'm totally mistaken and you are male, then please forgive my boldness and ignorance. Good luck with the build either way.

Okay, i read some of the previous posts and see that you are in fact a girl. I'm glad. I also feel kind of stupid for not reading the other posts first. My previous post still hold true, though. i think more girls should get involved in the auto world.
