hey everyone
Just got my hands on an NA 1991 FC3S. Super happy to get into something with a little more panache and engineering than my last secondary vehicle, a track **** of a daily driven '90 240sx. The lack of torque is something to get used to, however I am absolutely in love with the car already, and have named her Ava.
Not much time to lay down a lot of history or post pics and mod plans, but I will definitely get to that in the near future.
Peace!

Just a little update.
I just got this thing on the road after swapping the clutch and rear oil seal in the tailshaft of the trans.
Second day out and I'm now researching where to have my stock alternator rebuilt/rewound to 140+ amps. I plan on having a very nice audio system in the near future, as well as an electric fan setup and an alarm system with door poppers, etc. I dont want any room for error with keeping the car supplied with power. Anyway I am living in the east SF bay area. any recommendations?

Hey guys sorry for the delay in replying. I got Ava's shiftknob from itsproper.com
had to have the shortshifter modded though since none of the adapters included fit the threads correctly. It's nice having people with welding equipment.

Hello, I'm trying to learn some things about Mazda RX7s. Especially those from the early '80s. My soon-to-be father-in-law has a rusty one that we want to restore.
And, Mr. Wankel's engine is pretty cool, too.

Thanks anwar and jipstar.
Zgordon- if I'm correct, you had/have a VERY nice 240Z project thread going on NICO. small world if it is you. And the mod is simple. Cut off the old threads from the shifter, weld on the new ones, (I used a steel bolt) and mount the shift ****.
