Hey everyone
Hey guys, I just registered to the site. I'm 21 from New Jersey. I came here to Learn as much as i can about rotary engine ( Repair/diag/performance). I come From Working on Regular piston engines.
I work at Goodyear. And from what i understand Regular mechanics dont know much about rotarys. So i was hoping i can expand my knowledge of rotary through reading around on this site. a buddy of mine is a member of this site also. not sure of his username, but hes looking into getting a 87 rx7 so im pretty much trying to help him while trying to help myself.
But Hopefully this forum isnt like many of the other forums, where when you ask a question someone replies saying " are you some kind of a$$hole " or somthing like that

Welcome.
Read the FAQ threads to get up to speed on your car.
Every forum has their bad apples and if you ask a question that has been rehashed over and over, you will probably get that response. However, if you read the FAQ to learn the answer to that question that has already been asked, you can then ask more knowledgeable questions and won't get a rude answer like that.
Its all up to you.
Good luck with the car. What are your plans for it?

well since the car is all stock my buddy wants to start off with wheels and tires, but as far as engine work, he wants to have it rebuilt possibly with a street port, then would be bolt on mods such as FMIC, exhaust manifold, bov, boost controller, then fuel work, fuel pump, injectors, regulator... etc im not sure of his goals but id say he would be happy with 300hp
