Hey there everyone. My name is Rob. I just recently purchased an 87 RX-7 GXL. It is all stock with 107000 miles on it. So far I am loving the car. I have not driven anything like it so far. As for a little back round info about myself. I live in Connecticut. I am only about five minutes from Mohegan Sun Casino and maybe like fifteen mins from Foxwoods Casino. Cant stand going to them except to take the car up for photos. But either way I am not sure as to where I am going to go with the car. I have thoughts of putting some work into. Possibly a race port and turbo kit. I know that more than likely this winter the car will be pulled apart and at the very least get new paint and some lighter body panels. I really want to clean and dress up the engine bay. But thats all later on down the road. As for the overall condition of the car is pretty good. The only issues when I purchased was that the interior lights didn't work and the radio reset every time I restarted it. A fuse fixed that issue. Another issue is that the Ebrake does not work. I have traced that to the rear calipers. Easy fix for me. The biggest issue that I am trying to trace is the heater location selector does not work. I cant change from the floor to defrost or any thing. Still stumped here. And the last issue is one of the mufflers is rotted out. Another easy fix. Oh and I forgot I have no keys to the doors or hatch. So I can not lock the car.
