MB hey from Canada!

Hello all,
my name is Connor, and I'm from Winnipeg which is located in Manitoba for those who aren't sure! I've decided to get back into the import scene since my Cobalt SS just didn't give me the spark like my MR2 and 3000gt did! But I finally lucked out and traded my Cobalt SS for a 1992 Rx7 type-R. It has 103,000kms but just over 1000kms on a rebuild. Just from running over the car I've noticed a few goodies which are;
JIC magic coilovers, exedy twin disc clutch, 18x9 and 18x10 work eurs, 3" turbo back exhaust, and some interior upgrades like gauges, seats, and others! But I hope to learn a lot from you guys and already have big plans with the car!

Welcome to the rx7club Connor. I'm Ron. Uber JDM sexy beast. Plans on changing the looks and set-up more or less to make it your own or other mods that have taken priority in the works?

Nice to meet you ron! Haha thank you I'm still shocked the kid was willing to trade for a cobalt!! But to answer your question sir I really love the look of it. But things could change as my budget changes! For the engine I'm currently doing a single.turbo conversion w/ a garret t04 (heard good things), upgrading the cooling system, and minor transmission work!!

Haha snowed for a bit but thankfully it.melted... but typical Winnipeg they salted the crap out of the roads so I was forced to park it for the winter

Nice to meet you Danny! That would be a great time its been awhile since I've been down there! Is there a big group of rx guys down there? From what I hear there's barely any here in Winnipeg sadly. Haha yeah but I'm debating if I want to powder coat the faces white...good idea or bad?

Yeah there really isn't that big of a following around here, maybe more in St.cloud/Minneapolis... check the MW section. As far as a white face, I've never seen that, might look good, I would try and plastidip it first just to see if you like it. If you do like the look peel it off and powder coat if you don't peal it off and leave it off lol

*edit- I know of two FD's in my area here is a pic of Shane's probably the nicest in the area.

That will be a fun car. I wonder how she handles in the snow? I had a 1988 TII up north and I couldn't keep it under control in the winter. Good luck and enjoy the car.

Yeah keep us updated on the wheels!
As far as Shane's car, he owns the local motorsports shops (Tintmasters), the whole car is pretty much redone I believe. They usually go all-out.
