Hi this is like a story of love and despair but here it goes;
At first i was an 8 piston lover cause of my uncle, who has this lots of American Muscles Cars in its yard. The sound got me crazy every time he started one of them, so he told me "If u ever get one i have a lot of spare parts so we can tune it"... I went my self looking for a Nova and i told the news to my best friend, there my rotary story began. He told me " dude u know my father build 8p too but u cant compare them to rotaries" i was like wot its a rotary car? He showed me pics and vids all night long along with a lot of facts the pros and conts I WAS SIMPLY FASCINATED WITH THE ENGINE... So i told my self I gotta get one i want to learn more and here I am and I love them every time I go to a race track and they start an 8p I get pumped but when I hear a Rotor sound near by I get chills all over and search him until i find the car I simply love them... Why the despair u ask...well I got myself my first rx7 2 years ago but u know there always people that do anything for money, anyways, I got this chassis for $500 I was an 86 sixport but no engine, it had everything else he told me a chinese story about the car and the engine, that he was fixing it and he would give it to me when he finish it. I tow the car to my home and weeks later i call his to home, his wife told me he desapired with all his things and the engine and the money so i had just a chassis in my garage i tryied a couple of times to find him but nothing i got son mad i sold the car in pieces... months later i found a Turbo2 chassis in $600 i went to see and it was a black beautiful beat up 87 turbo2 (Why i buy chasis only cause here in puerto rico the most ugly beat up and crapy rotary car running starts in $2000) so i bought the turbo 2 and the guy who sold it to me told me he had an 6port engine 91 in his yard the engine was in pretty good shape so he old it to me in $300. Yay i got my Rx7 and an engine for $900 nice eh... hes not running yet but Ive had learn a lot of it and for it for example the 91 engine wiring doesn't fit the 87 chassis lol and so on.
