Hi there and thanks! This car was billed as a survivor and owned by a Mazda dealer. I think a few things have been revamped but I haven't seen one in quite a while and don't remember what all the stock specs looked like.
Did the '79s happen to have the storage units behind the seats? I'm thinking they upholstered over them buy I'm not sure.

Regardless, it is hard to believe the condition it is in.

Hi Michael.

Ah. That would explain it. My others were 83,85 and 87. This one supposedly had a couple owners. It had 50,200 miles and had been in storage. I will post when I get a moment. I can't believe how clean it is under the hood. It's mind boggling.

wow! that thing's like new. check the sticker in the door jam for the build date. which side is the hood prop on? early builds had the prop on the pass side.

hood prop is on the driver's. It looks great but a few things are broken. Mostly cosmetic and I am having trouble find a few parts. That was to be expected. I found Aktins Rotary which has quite a nice inventory though.
