Hello from the UK
Hi,
Just wanted to introduce myself as I have been learning a lot from this forum for the past few months.
I got my first FC EGI last January as I wanted a cheap, fun, RWD japanese car to have a go at trackdays with. Loved the handling of the car but felt it needed more power in a straight line. After nearly buying a RB header I spotted another EGI on my local forum that already had custom header, K&N and recently rebuilt enging minus the exhaust sleeves. This car was the same price as a new header so I bought it instead. So now I have 2 FC's on the drive but am going to use my original as a source of learning.
I.e. im going take engine out and attempt to rebuild. Also going to take the Koni's off the rear, to go onto the other FC.
Anyways I am not mechanically gifted but thats one of the reasons I went for a cheap EGI, so that I can learn without worrying too much.
Also looking into ECU options and would really like to try out the RTEK7 option as it is cheapest (I think) and I think best suited to someone like myself who would not have a clue about rewiring harnesses etc.
Great site by the way and stacks of useful info.
Thanks
Mark
