Hi my names Daniel. I have been an RX7 fanatic for about 5 years now but i got out of the game for a while and i am just now getting another project going. About 6 months ago i bought my third 7 (I have owned a 1988 gxl, 1987 se and now a 1989 with a turbo 2 conversion) I found this rx7 on craigslist in rough conidtion and couldn't resist owning one again especially given the potential in this old junker. I picked it up for $600 as a non running car with rough paint but a straight body with a newly rebuilt turbo 2 motor and trans. I am pretty sure that the problem is in the mismatched ECU and the wiring harness that had seen better days so it will make the perfect candifdate for a megasquirt build. I didn't get very far with the car before being deployed to afghanistan but i have had plenty of time to think and plan and i am going to hit it hard when i get back in about 2 months. I am so glad to be back into a 7 and can't wait to take this one from its path to the junk yard to head turner.
