Hello from Switzerland
Hello from Switzerland
Hi everyone
I'm Reto and 40 years old. I working as a car mechanic (Renault) and workshop manager.
I've bought my first RX7 in 2017. It is a LHD FD3S, in '92 original Switzerland delivered car with a little bit over 50000km on it. The 13b is, I think, untouched and nearly stock.
I've made few small changes to the FD over the past few years like Suspension, Wheels and front Bumper etc.
I really enjoy driving, but only on sunny weekends.
In 2020 I've bought locally a '93 RHD rolling chassis and saved it from a LS-swap. It was former a Japan import. Since then I work more or less on building a race car out of this base.
At the time I prepare a 13b for this project. I do by myself Rotor lightening, Semi-PP, Stud machining, porting, balancing etc.
I really love the technical side of the "Wankel Engines".
RX7Club.com helps me to understand this better. Thanks
So, that’s my short story.
Regards Reto
