Hello, RX7 Club!
Hi eveyone...
I've been a fan of the RX7 since back in 1983 when my father purchased a brand new GSL. As a twelve year old I loved that car, and my dad drove it daily until he passed away in 1989. My mother sold the car to a family friend, and he ended up driving it for over 300,000 miles. I was sold...
Several years ago I owned a '91 while I was in the Army. She was bone stock, but fun to drive and reliable, too. I drove her until I seperated from the service, and bought a "normal" car. I'd had boring vehicles for too long, and so recently bought a 1986 Mustang with a 351 Windsor, nitrous, etc. She's fast as all get out in a straight line, but hell on gas. Not only that, but she doesn't like to stop or turn very quickly...
I've been thinking of getting a new toy, and my mind turned back to the old RX7. I'll be lurking for a while until I figure out what I really need to ask, and look forward to getting some good advice from y'all....
Cheers!
