Hello race fans!

Hey folks,

long time reader, first time poster

My name is Matt Murphy and I recently picked up an old FC road racing car. It needs a good refresh, but was a built solidly I’m guessing 15 years ago. I’ve found some of the original owners posts and what not, so it’s pretty cool to learn where it’s been.

Planning on building it to compete in Alberta, and run it as an ST-4 car, I’m told we should be around the 200hp mark, and 2400lbs minimum weight. Engine is a turbo ii block I’m going to run N/A, has a large street port, fully clearanced, lightened and balanced rotating assembly with hardened gears.

not much to look at right now, but a solid chassis and I’m looking forward to cleaning it up. This will be my first rotary powered car, and I’m stoked to start tuning and tweaking this thing!

Thanks for the warm welcome, traditionally I’ve been horrible at maintaining build threads, but I’ll try and do better with this car lol
