Hello from NJ
Hello my name is Ed, I just bought a black 1988 vert with 200k mile. It only had 2 other owners before me and has never been rebuilt. The original owner who bought it in 88 passed away like 7-8 years ago and his son who inherited it kept it in a garage for 7-8 years till they contacted the person I bought it off of to help him get it running (it only needed a new alternator). Then the person who I bought it off of had it for 6 months before he sold it to me. I'm hoping to get a bit of a optimistic 50k out of it before I rebuild the engine.

Welcome to the forum!! The car appears to be in great condition and was definitely well cared for! Was the red wrench for the center caps included with the car? What have you had to do to the car thus far?
I would run a proper compression test with a rotary compression tester to start and do a cooling system flush. The engine in the FC is somewhat susceptible to coolant o-ring failure and the channel where the coolant seals ride is prone to corrosion as well. The cooling system should be flushed every couple of years to maintain proper efficiency and prevent corrosion.

The center cap wrench was included lucky. I have only done an oil change as I'm waiting for parts to arrive, but the previous owners added LED headlights, a racing beat exhaust, and a new radio, they also gave me the OEM radio just in case I wanted to put it back in
