Hello from a new member
I have had the site book marked for the last few months (since acquiring a 1993 fd). Great site and people. 'Car had been sitting in a garage (read: not started even) for over 6 years when I acquired it. I got it running without too many issues, but am now chasing an oil leak that is ending up smoking on the back exhaust piping and transmission pan areas. Not leaking from those areas but getting blown on when driving. After reviewing notes on this site, I have already replaced the oil pedestal o-rings that were definitely leaking. As I still smell oil burning, the investigation continues. Oil pressure level sensor o-ring is next, as it looks suspect too.
My background:
I like cars. Or anything mechanically beautiful. 'Owned a few Zs and gen1 RX7s early on. 'Owned a 1984 GSL-SE in the '90s that i still regret selling (for a '95 Mitsu Eclipse GSX).
I can turn a wrench but not any more skilled than what youtube and the forums can show me how to do.
