Hello everybody Im Jose but my friends call me JosB. Ive been around the forms for a while but never posted. Im 17, just graduated High School in May..and Im a construction worker now for a while. Gonna start school soon. My 1st car was a White 89 Nissan 240sx coupe with a 91 KA24DE..was my 1st car/daily beater/ drift car.. April i went to put gas in the coupe and a speeding civic T-Boned me (i was making a left turn on a light) so the S13 is gone forever...cought on fire and all the stuff in my engine bay melted/ mods also.

So Saturday a friend sold me his old FC. its a faded red 86 2+2 S4 rolling chassis, im guessing its a GTU but i dont know. its been sitting for 3 years so ima bring it back. and coming from only knowing about Nissan's.. i don't know ANYTHING about rx-7's and rotarys. it has no engine.. and my interior is striped.. have my steering wheel/ driver seat/ and most of the dash haha which is all i need! i have a bunch of parts but dont need them.. and since i had ALLOT of trouble with cops and dumb ricers from school/ around the city with my S13 i don't want another car for the streets so the 7 is gonna be my track car. Looking forward to learning, meeting new people, and just being here.

Now, that's a proper introduction, folks! Welcome aboard, Jose! Without an engine in that FC, you def have a lot of possibilities for motivation but I'm sure hoping you head in the 13B direction, rotary power, that is...

Haha.. Thanks bro.. i like this fourm so why not start good...right? Well the only engines im looking at are a 13b or SR..as long as i get one of those then im good. The SR would be easy for me since i know enough about them to work on it but ive only seen 1 13b in my life and it was in my friends FD (wich broke/apex seals)..so im stuck if i get a 13b . But I would really like to build a turbo 13b if i can get one and some one can help me. but like i said i would be stuck really bad haha.. o well my curiosity will help, probly

The guy that sold me the car also gave me extra shocks,a pair of KYB/ not AGX..and Tokicos for the whole car, a 1.5 LSD with the pumkin or what ever its called and ima probly gonna be picking up a bucket seat next week when i get my pay check. i think it was a good buy, and im happy with the FC..it has a sun roof!!...

hmm thats a good question... well i havent driven my FC yet but it seems like it will do fine..The S13 was a great car to drift and overall to handle was easy.. It had upgrades also..but nothing much for power just a high flow cat and megan exhaust..both 3.15mm and the tip was 4.5. I had Tein lowering springs on KGB AGX shocks and cusco strut bars with no intirior just the front seats/dash/headliner.. and a G-Force harness so it was fun driving..e-fan that kept the engine below 150 all the time with the koyo rad and some guages..and a ground stablizer from apex-i...and some other stuff.. it was a great car..i really liked driving it! i would be going through the moutains about 70ish (speed limit is 65) and i would take turns like nothing.. also during the rain! But i cant really answer your question untill i get to drive my FC so ill let you know eventually .

but an FD is way better!! my buddy has a 93 and its so tight! i so want one haha...its gonna be my next car.

 

trust me, my fc's rear shocks are blown and my fc handles like a beast. you cant beat lightweightedness on a mountainpass. and it seems like you have a good income to finance your new rotary, welcome to the forums and i hope your 13BT or 20B *cough cough* comes out well.

 

lol well mine were Yesterday (all 4)! looked like i had some deamon camber haha and now i have brand new tokico blues...and 2 extra KGB's.. i smashed my hand but o well no pain no gain ..well both where the same...just seat/dash only the S13 had an engine. Ehh the income is about to stop and school is about to start next week..not cool but got to get my edgumacation on.. 20b is way to much...13b is good..dont know how to take care of them so a 13b will do.. still need to get use to the FC before going all out on stuff i wont be able to use to its potential so just wana start small.. coils/engine (13b turbo or SR)/bucket seat(already have a harness) and a rollcage to be able to tandem at willow springs. stock power on both engine's are enough since my S13 was almost stock power and the FC has an LSD so drifting this thing will be easier and its lighter.

 

i have no idea what it is...lol...ive been tryin to get ahold of the guy for like 3 weeks and im startin to get impatient...

hopefully i can pick it up soon!

Dats cool and good luck with your FC. Once you own one of these they become a part of you .All the blood sweat and tears.Trust me theyre wrth it.And also be very gentle when your going to mess with the engine because since u dont kno much bout the 13B itll be very easy to mess some lines up .....especially oil injector lines *sigh*.lol.But seriously without a doubt this is the best car ive had and its coming from a guy whos name is Jose and ownd a 240sx as his first car too.93 KA24DE.Built it like crazy but had to sell it.RX7s r fun and also a challenge if yours is a N/A..So get ready to rock ut with your c**k out lol (got that from SuperBad).Have fun man

oh...be patient dude.. i had to look for about 5 months before i got my S13...just chill...with all the mods it came with i got it for 1,200 (rod knock) and another KA 6 moths after for $90 so i was set haha.

well im still not shure if ima go 13b..as much as i want to build one... i know im going to mess it up at the track drifting and not have money to fix it..plus i can get all the parts for an SR and know people that can help me build it..and the 13b i just kinda know mazdatrix builds them...migh be a littil to much for my wallet though

yeah man i've been lookin for like 6-7 months and i found this one & its like perfect, jus got a brand new motor put in, only needs a new exhaust, little dents n dings on the door...nothin major, it jus sucks cuz the dude's not wanting to meet up or anything...

haha hell na! dont like being NA at all...im use to driving my T-Bird (black car in one of the photos) its pushing 15psi stock on its stock T-3 turbo...The S13 bugged me since i didnt have a turbo either... but at least it wasnt a SOHC ...The FC is gonna have a turbo...once i get a few parts im probly gonna start a build thread. Love the sound of a turbo spooling!... and Love when people look to see what car is making the turbo sound haha and see me in a beat up T-Bird
