Well just to start this off my name is Daniel and i now own a 1993 R1 Fd rx7

So it all started with getting bored with the nissan 240sx. After owning 9 i wanted something new and i found a fd rx7 for a really good deal. I build 240's for myself and i am now building a full formula drift spec 1991 240sx hatch back for a friend will post pics at the bottom of this thread.

After driving this fd for the last 2 days of owning it ihave come to the conclusion i will probably never own another 240sx.

This is what i went from - 1991 nissan 240sx with a built ls1 and full suspension






Now im in this
1993 R1 Fd Rx7 was read but the last owner owner had it re painted White.
Just turned 69,000 miles:

I have been a member of zilvia.net for over 8+years and i plan to do the same here now. I will be trolling the forums learning as much as i can about this chassis and motor because as of now its above my pay grade.

I went out this weekend and took some pictures of the car. I used my cell phone soon to buy a Canon Rebel T1i and get some really good pictures.

 

wow both cars are absolutely gorgeous :| Congrats on the new purchase.. i was set on finding a black on black r1.. but after seeing it in white, a repaint may be coming lol.

I am truly in love with this car and have some sutle but amazing plans for it. Not going to swap the 13b just want to go single turbo with a reman motor and street port. Plus some body stuff that will make it look even better.

 

are you planning on keeping the same aero? is that bumper authentic?

Yeah i loved the ls1-ls6 hybrid 240 but it was far from a daily driver. Amazing hp and always got good looks but it got realy hot inside with dual 3'' exhaust no a/c and 120+deg outside.


Let me know how you like that ls1 in the rx might think about doing that swap in the far future.
