Hello from Kentucky

Hello! Not exactly new here, been lurking around for the last year or 2, just haven't had many questions not already answered somewhere.
Bought an 85 GSL-SE about a year and a half ago and have been slowly trying to make it better. The current plan is to slowly transform it into a autocross / track toy. As I get further I to improving things I'm sure I will have plenty of questions to ask on here. So far this site has been super helpful! Thanks everyone!

Would love to see some pics of that SE!! Just remember that before you modify it a lot, the GSL-SE commands the highest value of any S3 RX-7. Values are going up and it would be a great car to hang onto. Welcome aboard!

Thanks guys. Here she is. She ain't the prettiest out there but she is a blast to drive. The PO attempted to paint it and as you can see, it didn't work out so well. Not super worried about the value given the condition. Most of the high dollar examples are in a lot better condition.

It would unfortunately take quite a bit to bring that car back to original condition. Understandable why you would want to modify it for autocross use. Quite an excellent car for that. Ensure that the tube for the 5th and 6th ports is in place and free of holes or breaks. The operation of the 5th and 6th ports relies on the back pressure from the exhaust as it travels up that pipe to the engine.

Yeah that's why I don't feel so bad modifying it right now. I checked the 5th & 6th ports a while back and they still function properly.
