I have never owned a rotary engine but I purchased it because it is in such good condition for the age plus I have other transportation while I get the kinks out of this car. So I joined this forum very GREEN and in need of help with this car. Unfortunately, I'm new in the town I live in and I'm having trouble finding a mechanic who even wants to work on the engine...looks like I will have to travel to the nearest Mazda dealership 2 hours away...maybe someone can help me...

 

I think you are twoish hours from Marietta? I'm in the same boat as you, opposite end of the state, but am lucky that I can drive mine there. I haven't been to Mazcare, only spoken to them on the phone, but they were suggested to me if I need anything from the fellow I got my car from. So, while I can't give you a first hand review, I hope to take mine there soon to be generally checked out. Worth a call at least. I'm thinking a dealer, even if its Mazda, may not have the experience Mazcare has. They do a lot of rotary work. Good luck on the new car!
