Hello from Japan!
Hey everyone! Currently serving in the US Armed Forces, been stationed in Japan the past 3 1/2 years and had multiple JDM fun cars but finally decided on my forever baby. A 1996 Efini RX-7 Type RS. I’ve had her for almost a year now and finishing my single turbo build now along with all the other supporting mods. It’s my first rotary ever and let me tell you, I’m probably never going back. Nice to meet you all!

That looks amazing. How was your journey learning right-hand-drive? I've been looking at the auctions in Japan religiously, but what keeps me hesitant on placing a bid is the idea of potentially never being able to fully adapt.

Thanks! And personally I like driving RHD better because I’m a righty and like having my stronger hand controlling the wheel. Just feels for comfortable for me.

no, not with the 1MAW. Air Force.
And the skirts are by Final Konnexion. Same as the front bumper. Stock rear bumper with AB Flug rear spats/mudguards.

That’s a very nice looking FD you’ve got. I’m also stationed in Japan but up in mainland Japan (Army). I’ve got my sights on a 95 RX7 myself, just waiting on this weird process Japan has for buying vehicles. Very nice car though, best of luck with your build in the future.

Do you happen to know what front fenders are on the car and how many mm's it adds? Are you driving with a square setup?
I was considering getting some wider front fenders for my car and running a square setup, but was looking at ones with only around a 10mm increase.
