Haha you bet man, I just became a member, but before that I used to surf through here as non-member. I thought I would need to have an RX7 in order to join the forum, but I guess being a fan is enough. As regards to my search for one, I've found a couple, but I haven't been able to reply because I wasn't a member which is why I joined.

Welcome! There are some out there. Check FB forums too those posting them in social media and #rx7forsale on google. Before you buy have it tested and if it has custom work make sure you know what it will take before you buy it to avoid surprises.

Good luck and we hope you can join us at one of our meets int he near future.

Over here you have to go to either Homestead Speedway or Palm Beach Raceway racepbir.com/ (aka Moroso). Further north there is Sebring. They have the schedules on their sites.

At Homestead on Friday's they open it to the public to race a personal car. There was a drag strip in Broward, but the lease expired and even though they are working on it, there hasn't been any announcements that I could find as to the opening of the new location.

Good luck with your decision!

You're a lucky man, unfortunately in my 12 years living in Miami I've only seen 4 FDs, so the chances on finding a deal in person around here is probably harder than winning the lottery. I'm just looking for a roller, something that I can possibly build my way with time.

I don't know what type of racing you're into so... I wouldn't be able to specifically tell you. As far as legal racing, MAZDAPROS answered it for you. Illegally, there are some spots around. I used to go when I was little with my sister in her ZX300 and I never really enjoyed seeing riced out cars. Especially because they weren't anything worth investing on and it hurt me to see those high school kids dump money into their Civics and Integras, but Miami is nice man, if you move by the beach you'll see cars that are well taken care off. I just saw a clean NSX on Saturday and a couple of Supras about 2 weeks ago. Those car could've easily gone for 30k of how impeccable they looked and ran. Whether you go to Texas or Miami, it all depends on where you end up living once you move there and who you meet and end up knowing around. We also don't have emission laws and all of that so it's a plus when you want to mod your car and not have to worry about getting pulled over for an exhaust.

Haha I understand you, my brother-in-law is a truck driver, but yeah MAZDAPROS should know more about that than me, I'm very much aware of Homestead Speedway because I live close by it, but I don't travel much up North. It's fun though and usually the weather is nice.

It turns out there is a white FD for sale. I believe he is asking around 12,5 His name is Jimmy. Check it out. I know there is a yellow that someone is going to sell, but that one is a lot of custom work. mmmm trying to think...There are two that the owners have been trying to sell for a while. Once is a Veil Side kit with two tone yellow and red in Miami which was wrapped with chrome. Don't know the history on that one as I 've never had it at the shop. The other was brought here, but I never inspected it. The owner brought it to let us know he was selling it. That last one is also white, RH and it has Lime color wheels.

Jimmy's number is 786-290-6807. Talk to him and see how much and the history on the car. ect. He posted the car on FB for sale sometime this week. If I learn of any other I will post it.

Thanks and I'd definitely appreciate it. I'm guessing no one in the South of Miami owns an FD, because I've only seen one that was pretty beat up in the streets by where I live and I never saw it again. I'm guessing they're all up north. I currently found one and we're working on negotiation, but it's not official from both parties, so if a better deal comes along I won't hesitate to jump on board.
