Hey guys whats up my names Cassidy i'm a guy not a girl...i live in New Lebanon New York home of Lebanon Valley Speedway and dragstrip...we're also doign drifting here once a month if your not too far away its once a month check Lebanon Valley Drift. I own a 1989 rx7 turbo 2 it has 143k miles and i'm the 3rd owner, the car was given to me by a friend from the bay area of California.. it was broken down up in the woods a few hours north of san francisco ..( due to detonation) all the apex seals were in peices , corner seals were in pieces, grenaded!... i began at cleaning out the fuel tank new fuel pump all nasty gunk and made my way to getting it running even with the owner tellign me it would run but dont drive it.. i ended up getting it all running , rats chewed the omp harness , had limp mode , began my quest on rx7club.com and just went crazy reading as much as i could about avoiding detonation , tuning, ecu's, bac's, idle adjustments, injector sizing. I ended up undertaking a rebuild on my own after educating myself as much as possible, and eliminating the possibilty of having low compression due to something as simple as carbon build up..I steamed cleaned er a few times and took compression readings with a gauge and with pop pop pop method for apex seals.. hard starting ect.. so i dove in and broke it down and streetported it, wastegate port, stage 2 Act clutch 6 puck, full emissions delete, TB mod. Finalllllyy just got rtek 1.8 was goign to try to solder myself but chickened out after no luck practicing on old ps2 motherboards, sent it back they did it. good guys, wish they would continue the 2.1 with pda was cool anyone have one for sale?? N370.. i put in Osidetiger 820cc in both primary and secondarys and most recently a ebay FMIC and Mazdatrix steering angle kit for drifting, ebay coilovers with adj front camber, has a RB downpipe full exhaust, Optima redtop in rear driverside bin, and a ebay big aluminum radiator with 16 fan and i made a sheetmetal shroud after failing and just placing fan over radiator. Future mods are welding rear end , LSD type kinda wonderign how to do it, its ripped out on the bench right now and i need help so finally logging on to site... and a bash bar in front, drift handbrake, full cage, and wire up my apexi neo. thats about it... also maybe wheel spacers for running different wheels, and bigger lock for drifting
