TX Hello, Im Back at this board (Noob)

Hi,

i registered a while back bc i love FD's, I stopped posting on message boards in general, and stopped on this rx7 thing bc I never got one.

My Fiancee wants one really bad too,So we are deciding to build one together. She has a 350Z she is building and im building a 240sx fastback with a SR20DET, We are both almost done with our projects, So i guess its time to do one together.

Still deciding about which way to go, Stay true with Rotary,or Swap the motor?

I guess first we need to get the FD

Welcome! Personally, I'd say do the rotary thing and either go single turbo...or if you're feeling extra frisky, go for a 20B swap

I notice that you got a FC and a rx8, not a fan of the FD? or just had one and sold it?too many problems with it?

I understand how you feel about the what to do...I have a 82, and I'm still undecided myself. I'm kinda partial to the 302 ford and 2.3 turbos...so I dunno...I'm also considering just selling it.

I had all but given up on it until a month ago when I drove a coworker's rx8. It brought back all the memories of my friends rx7 that inspried me to get into the rx's in the first place...but this fuel system has me confused and double guessing everything. I'm contemplating just yanking the fuel system and going with a racing beat carb set up...I just want to drive the car. It's getting old sitting in the car making rotary noises, and shifting the gears.
