Hello from an FD owner in the UK!
Hello. I'm Alan and I've just bought myself a project FD to hopefully be finished by the summer.
I am new to owning rotors but not new to project cars and have already consulted threads on this forum for technical help so thanks!
I haven't got any plans set in stone for the FD other than for now get her back on the road and running as she should. I did a compression test just yesterday got back 7,7,7 on the rear and 4,0,0 on the front. Not entirely sure if this is a failed seal or a stuck seal. It drives and seems okay for a little while sometimes perfectly fine under load but then it misfires for a little while and I've got nothing at all, but then it comes back again. My priority right now is to rebuild the engine but should i be expecting complete seal failiure or could they be sticking? Either way it's going to be a steep learning curve but I'm confident I'll enjoy every second.
Thanks.
Alan.
