Hello everybody.
I'm Bob, aka Bob the Barber. I live in Stratford, NJ. and work in Prospect Park, Pa. I have a 1988 Mazda RX7 convertible which I love, but sad to say is now without a working engine. This club is just the thing for me I believe. A place to get valuable tips and insite to how to keep my car on the road in the future.
I'm looking forward to meeting you guys here on the club site and maybe in person some day.
Thanks for making this possible.
You can call me Bob
Thanks

Thanks Mario & funkjaw. I'm assessing the damage to my engine now and I'll be probably looking for a rebuit engine. If any members have any suggestions, I'm all-ears. I saw something on RX7 World.com but I'm confused on which one to choose. There is a stage one and stage two. Anybody know anything about this? Thanks.

Difference between 1 and 2 are New Oil pump, bearings, rotor oil control rings.
Is that a $800 difference? Probably not.
If you have the money just skip stage 1 and 2 and just get stage 3 as it has new rotor housings.
But if you really just want a cheap rebuild to get your car back on the road just go with stage 1, it will probably last you a couple years.
