Hello from Cloudy San Francisco
Hello fellow Rx7/Mazda Lovers. My name is Garrick Young and I live in sunny California, but more specifically cloudy San Francisco, it's like a paradox. Anyway from I was little I admired the Rx7 FC and I would like to get that as my first true car. As of now I have no car. I'm desperately trying to find one cause just like you I love everything about them. For now hello good people of the rx7club.com I wish you a happy life.
Sincerely, Garrick Young

Well, we do love our RX-7's here, that's for sure. Now, Garrick, I know you love those FC's but I'm thinking that one of them as a first car, especially if you're thinking daily driver, may be a bit much unless you have some gearhead skilz. These cars are now all at 19 years or older. Anything you can find in decent shape that is affordable will have some problem the owner isn't letting you on about.
If you do find one that's tuned, passes emissions and has good paint, you're talking a little ca-ching there. Nonetheless, there is nothing more profound that a young person hellbent on getting that car of their dreams. Use that search engine and read the 2nd Gen tech page's FAQ to get a leg up on the facts you need to know and this may very well be the beginning of another beautiful relationship between man and car.
Thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!

Hey good afternoon Garrick! Welcome to RX7 club.
I'm new as well to the forum, but congradulations on having you're heart set on an FC3s, It's also my dream car as well.
BTW This morning was crazy I found a 1986 fc3s yesterday at my local junk yard, So I was there this morning @ 8am before my college classes getting all sorts of wiring, and things I need for mine. I wish you the best though. Don't ever give up on the desire to own one, I've had my fc3s since I was 19 and i'm turning 26 in two weeks.
Mario III has the right idea though, If you're tight on funds right now, you can educate yourself for free here. Theres so many tech right up's. This site is a true blessing man.
Have a good one

Thanks
Thank you Azul3,
Oddly enough I'm 19 right now, so hopefully I can be like you and find one at 19, which I'm trying to do as i type as I am constantly checking craigslists and ebays, but mainly only in my area SF Bay Area. I do hope to learn a lot from this site to further my knowledge about the rx7 and to make it last a long time or as long as possible.
Sincerely,
Garrick Young

Hey how's it going Garrick?
Anything worthwhile takes time so just keep looking, you'll come across one eventually. If you have a facebook or any other way to social network maybe you can network through those sites once you get a little more cash.
In the meantime though you can at least educate yourself through this site, with all the tech and other forum members. ^U^Y
Stay motivated man. Truly wish you the best in your rx7 quest man.
Very respectfully,
Nate
