Hello all, slight rotary newbie here
#27
Well, I realize I'm reviving a 4 year-old thread but as my deal a few years ago fell through, I am once again presented with the opportunity to join the rotary club. This time it's a 1983 model, engine was rebuilt about 50k mi ago, transmission was rebuilt recently, new clutch at the same time, exhaust was redone as well, new tires too. The guy bought it in 1983 with 6k mi on it, and has owned it and taken care of it since. The body has just over 200k on it, but here's the biggest issue: it rear-ended grandma about 6 months ago, smashing up the left headlight pretty good, and bending up the sheet metal in the front left corner. The hood and radiator support are pushed in slightly on that corner too, but $1,200 for a mechanically excellent car has me drooling. How difficult is it to find replacement sheet metal for the nose piece and fender, and replacement headlight mechanisms? There's little traces of rust here and there but it's a 30 year-old car so that's not got me too worried. I have pictures both from the ad and those that I took.
EDIT: Since I see now first names are wanted, my name's Brett.

Though this...I like this idea... *strokes my nonexistent beard* I do live about 10 minutes from a junkyard though so I will probably be pestering them on a weekly basis.
