I am from Houston,Texas.
I am here introducing myself and my convertible s5. Got it for a grand. Took a few days on the rebuild. Got the entire kit and overhauled the whole block. It was the first engine I've rebuilt completely. Not hard considering I'm not bad with auto repair at all. After the rebuild my driveshaft went out and took the shifter housing with it bending the gear selector shaft. I did all the repairs along with new mounts. Previous owner put a turbo ii hood on. I've done all emission removal, ps, ac, etc. Oil cooler lines from corksport. Throttle body modification. I put electric fans on temp relay that runs without the key in so my car doesn't pick up temp after I shut it off. I'm innovative and don't care much for visual modifications. I used to roll Miata but that was then this is now. My goal with this machine is an REW swap with haltech ecu all stock engine to later upgrade to single turbo. I understand the labor involved and I'm ready to take it in with the help of local machine shops and my own mechanical knowledge. This isn't a project that I intent to finish overnight.
