Greetings from Vancouver Island
Hello everyone. I have been a lurker on this site for a few months since I purchased my car and now it is time for me to join. I have a S4 FC3S that is N/A and has a M/T. This is my first car and I learned to drive a manual transmission with it. I was never a car guy, took auto in highschool or liked driving. When I first got my car I couldn't identify anything under the hood other than the engine and battery. Now I always want to go for a drive, have bought tools, car books and acquired more knowledge. It may not seem like much, but this forum has taught me how to how to tighten my car's belts and fix a sunroof that wouldn't open. Thank you! I hope to learn more, contribute to the forum and meet other rotary enthusiasts.
I'm located on Vancouver Island, BC. If you see me on the road wave.

Thank you all for the greetings and comments on my car. I had an interesting run in today. On my way home from work, I saw a FD3S racecar that was smoking really bad in a car lot. I then rounded the block to park and get an up close look. By the time I got there, the smoke had almost disappeared. The only cause for the smoke I could think of would be the result of unflooding the engine but the owner said the engine was on fire (which was put out) upon starting it up. The owner was waking up the car from winter hibernation for a race next week. The hood was up so I took a look inside. Inside, I looked at a single turbo 20b engine with the biggest intercooler I have ever seen! It was really cool to see this beast in real life.
I bought it in Sept 2013. I work in Parksville. Do you want to get together for a cruise sometime?
