Greetings from Texas!

Hi, I'm so glad to have found this forum! My son just bought his first car, which is a 1991 RX7 convertible! I'm not sure who loves it more, me or him! We live in Houston, Texas and I'm hoping to find out more information on his RX7, like where to go to get it fixed, since it is a rotary engine. I'm to scared to just take it to anyone. I look forward to chatting with everyone and soaking up everyone's knowledge and tips! Have a great day! My son and I are going to take the RX7 out for a drive!

Houston has a strong rotary presence, so I'd go to this link:

the South Forum Regional Board...

..and see what the locals have found out as far as good shops close to your particular area...hit the "Reading Thread" sticky's in this board in order to get the post count up quick and learn some stuff about our website. Then you'll be able to interact with the link from the regional board I gave above.

Congratulations on the purchase and welcome aboard!

My son has gotten me into the car thing. We have always had a great relationship! When I found this car I knew he had to have it.... It just screamed his name!

Nice to meet everyone!

Thanks for the links and tip Mario!

Welcome aboard. Rotaries bringing families together. Seems like a hallmark moment. You should post pictures of the car.

I'm still trying to figure out everything around here... We are pretty new to this. I was trying to post a picture the other day, but I must have done something wrong.

Tip for figuring out how to do things other board members do, such as post pictures. If you hit the quote button, it'll open a reply window that has the code behind the photo in it. For posting photoes, its generally an image tag. There's also a button at the top of the reply window, a black mountain on a yellow background, that inserts and image in a more forward manner.

So, for kicks, here's my first car.
