Greetings from Germany

hi there!

Greetings from the good ol' Europe!
My name is Andreas and I'm living near Hamburg
I am having a '87 FC NA with 110kW (some more because it has a reactor like the older SA models)

I really love it, but it's still not perfect. poor idling, some rust and so on, not to mention these 15yo tires

The FC has around 62k miles, gunmetal grey color and a red interior. It is almost stock, the only thing I added was the cruise control (bought over the bay in USA)

The picture was made after rain, I will add an other one tomorrow

best regards!

62,000 miles! How is that possible? Was it parked all that time, hence the 15 year old tires? What a find! How did you find this RX-7?

Welcome aboard, Andreas!

You are very lucky to find an Rx7 with such low miles. Congrats!

Welcome to the club.

why not But you should be around 100 miles around Hamburg

It stood in a garage for 4 years before i got it, the preowner said he drove just some hundred kilometers over the years he had it.
I bought it with around 97000km (60000 miles) now it is at 100600km and don't know how I got these additional kilometers, did I really drove that much in 3 month?

There is only one mayor problem in Germany: I filled up (53l/14gallons) and paid around 75€ ($92) so it is 6,6 $/gal (23,5mpg by the way)

I took the photo at the gas station, it is already night, so the quality is really bad, but I think you can see the differences to the US-model at the exterior (like the mounting for the licence plate, the after fog lights, no 3rd brake light *sigh* ) Like every european FC it is a 2+2 seater

Very nice!

You just missed a rotary meet that happened in the Nederlands a couple of weeks ago. Check the European forum for the next one!

I knew about it, but the FC is not in a representative shape, the clear paint is worn of from the drivers door.

there are also the common idle issues
