CA Getting a SCCA Rx7

This car is a 1986 and is non-turbo. It has a full cage, Fuel cell, racing suspension and so no. I was the crew chief on and F modifyed on B sportsracing 1963 to 1968 we raced under SCCA rules. Then I was out of racing till 1972 and got into dirt racing with a guy that wasn't very god at it but I was able to get the car to run fron a back marker to be race to 5th to 10 th most of the time. Then I moved to a better driver aand I was able to build cars for him. We raced at San Jose speedway and ran Supermodifieds and that car was second in points 6 years in a row lest then 10 points out every year. So I say all this so you know I am not new to the sport of racing. But I am new to Mazda and the RX7 and have only worked on piston engines. So I can use any help on how this car works and what things do I need exspect from the car. If there is anyone out there that has raced this cars what areas do I need to focus on to get the most out of these cars. It an old car but then so am I so I don't exspect to win a championship but I do hope to have fun whit the car. Looking forword to chatting with some of you.
